Citation Encore Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following Encore market update for January 2025.
We have observed listing activity and sales activity decline over the last six months, but December was the first time since April when no Encores were sold.
Let’s look at the market for this beloved legacy Citation:
Availability:
There are 159 Citation Encores in operation today. Seven of those are currently for sale, or 4.4% of the fleet. This is up one listing from last month, when there were six available (3.8% of the fleet).
Listings:
The seven Citation Encores for sale today have been on the market for an average of 104 days so far, down slightly from last month when the average was 117 days. The selection available for sale today is still strong, with only one Encore for sale with over 10,000 hours on the airframe. Asking prices today range from $2,500,000 to $4,650,000.
Sales:
As mentioned previously, there were no Citation Encores sold in December. This is the first month with no sales reported since April 2024. Over the last six months, nine Encores changed ownership with 3 of those sales occurring off-market. The Encores that were publicly listed spent an average of 142 days on the market before selling, unchanged from the average last month. Encores sold over the last six months traded between $2,900,000 to approximately $4,700,000.
